I am going to meet someone I met on Myspace. Has anyone else done this? What was it like?

I'm not someone who would have ever thought I would meet someone in real life online. I always thought it was weird. All the people who are my friends on myspace are my actual friends in real life except this guy. I met him through a friend's page and thought at first he was someone else, but it turned out I didn't know him. We have been messaging each other pretty much everyday for the past 2 months, and I think he seems really cool, so I decided I should just meet him. I think I will probably be disappointed, he only had one picture and it wasn't a very good one, but I figured what the hell, he seems harmless and if I don't meet him I might always wonder.

no harm in meeting him and satisfying your curiousity but . . .

play it safe and meet him in public place and with a crowd.

bring a friend along and let him know so and if he can bring his along too that way, it wont be a crowd.

stay together as a group and till you are comfortable to be alone, then you can take it from there.

meantime keep your place of residence away from him maintaining your privacy . . . just in case.
