I would actually discourage you from putting flash stuff on your myspace.

when people have stuff on their myspace, it (a) heightens the chance that they'll get spam comments/mail. (b) heightens the chance that their myspace identity will get used. (c) bogs down your page so NO ONE will want to go on it because it takes eons to load. and (d) it generally makes your page look overflowed.

if you want a way to keep people on your myspace, start a game blog.

you can put flash games and stuff there, so it keeps your main page flash free, but it still keeps your page protected.

if you'd like to put fun stuff, you can search html games on google that you can copy and paste, you can put on the quote banners, flash games, flash items, count downs, really anything.

most people spend an average of three to four minutes on someones myspace ONCE.

with the new "message back" "comment back" features, people are going onto profiles less and less, and just clicking buttons.

simple and sweet layouts are the way to go, and keep them updated, change it around every few weeks (or if you're like me, once a week every week!). it keeps people coming back, and re-reading your info. i, however, don't change my about me. its been the same since I started my own personal page. it takes too much time to read a persons entire bio.
