Myspace and every other site like it are a joke and waste of time for individuals with LOW self esteems that deem it necessary to post personal and even provocative information about themselves for the WHOLE internet world to see...All that does is attract pediofiles and internet prowlers to prey upon them and or make them feel like they are special....with comments and invites to join their "groups" or whatever...

Give me a break. I have better things to do than waste my life on myspace or any other site like it...GET REAL GET A LIFE!

Teens are clearly using places like MySpace to establish social status. How do young males establish social status? By posting manly, daring images and information that demonstrate independence and bravery and by being listed as a friend on as many profiles of "hot girls" as possible. And how do girls establish social status? By posting sexually provocative pictures and titillating information that attracts the attention and friendship links of manly guys. How does any teen attract attention? By posting hot, intimate information. The teens who are into playing these games are the ones who are most likely playing these games on places like MySpace.

i mean myspace is cool to like keep contact with old friends and get to new friends but its kinda weird when people get all obssesed and sh!t with myspace, like they'd kill themeselves if theirs got deleted, then they might as well just drop dead.
